Good Night, Little Bunny
A novelty Touch-and-Feel rhymed book.
This is a reworking of BEDTIME FOR BUNNY with new illustrations because the editor wanted to give it a second chance. Oh–and I redid the rhyme a bit, too. I love second chances at books. It doesn’t often happen.
What reviewers have said:
- “Each page has a special “touch-and-feel” cut-out section filled with a different fabric or material that lets readers feel Little Bunny’s blanket, pajamas, and even the bristles on his toothbrush. . . . for parents with kids who love their stuffed animals, Good Night Little Bunny provides the sort of precious cuteness that very young children (and their parents) will enjoy.” –Suite101
- “Jane Yolen’s adorable bedtime boardbook. . . . Each page has a touch and feel section, including a puffy bit of blanket, velcro on a toothbrush, and soft bunny. The touch and feel sections all appear to be washable. The story is a simple but classic rhyming text of familiar bedtime rituals, illustrated with Sam Williams gentle colors and shapes. . .classic text and Williams’ art, combined with the fun touch and feel bits, appeals to a wide range of toddlers.”– http://jeanlittlelibrary.blogspot.com/2010/02/testing-testing-jane-yolen-board-books.html
